Whistler/Blackcomb: day 1

6 inches overnight and the sun started to break out at about 8am.  We decide to head straight for Seventh Heaven to guarantee some untracked terrain. They held the chair for a good hour but it was well worth the wait.  We made 4 or 5 laps and had fresh tracks through the trees each time.

Getting slightly spoiled with new snow every morning. At some point I'm going to have to expect bumps.

After lapping Seventh Heaven we hiked up Spanky's Ladder.  At this point it was about 12:30 but the snow snow was still nice.

Couldn't have asked for a better first day.  I've heard stories of weeks on end of terrible visibility and no snow.
